Kazakhstani civil servants passed the undergone training at the Institute of Government. Duke University, Terry Sanford (Durham, USA)Agency for Civil Service affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with JSC "National Center for civil service personnel management" organized the training for the Kazakhstani civil servants at the Institute of Public Policy on the topic: "International experience in managing social processes: the prevention of social conflicts, social technologies, motivation systems, social advertisement, etc." in the period from 19 October to 03 November 2009.
In the training course participated 18 civil servants representing Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Prime Minister’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning, Culture and Information, Ministry of Internal fairs, the Ministry of Justice, Labor and Social Welfare.
In the framework of the training were addressed many burning issues, in particular the "Social housing and other social services", "Education, employment and health services", "Migration Policy", "Poverty Reduction", "Corruption", "Problems of the Environment" etc.
In addition to theoretical studies, participants were given the opportunity to learn practice activities of local executive bodies of the State of North Carolina, United States, as well as research centers, particularly in areas such as philanthropy and civil society.
Course participants noted the great practical value of the course, high level of training of lecturers and good organization of practical training.
