The decision to form a working group on the organization of a forum from a number of senior government officials and on approval of the plan of organizational measures was mad3e at the meeting.

The world Islamic Economic Forum is the main annual economic summit of member states the Organizations Islamic Conference (OIC), the so-called «Islamic Davos». The initiative of its holding belongs to the government of Malaysia. The main aim of the Forum is to conduct broad and representative discussion of economic and geopolitical development of Muslim countries, their role in the global economy, new markets formation prospects, rendering assistance for capital raising of large foreign investors in the economy of OIK member countries.
